The Hanger itself is ¼” steel with 3/8” AR500 Steel hooks so once the target is added only exposed pieces to bullet impacts are the AR500 steel hooks if used correctly. Also built into the top of the hanger is a target stop to ensure the target bottom can't kick back at you, the target holds the proper angle to reduce the risk of being hit by fragments and the target lasts longer. Goes great with any of our silhouette targets (standard silhouette, reactive silhouette, lifelike, and double tap. Shooting steel targets is like freedom ringing through the air. The “ping ping” of ringing steel is much more enjoyable than punching holes in paper. It provides an audible response to your shooting so you know which shots are hit and miss. It really is difficult to fully describe how fun shooting steel is with just words. Our T-Post Chain Hooks are made 3/8” AR500 steel and work great with any of our gongs, square, silhouettes or animal targets. They slide easily onto a T-Post then you can attach chains and ½” carriage bolts to secure your target of choice.
